The expanded meeting of the Egyptian Football Association with the national teams has begun, presented by the eagle Ahmed Hassan, with the attendance of Hossam Hassan, the head coach of the Egypt senior national team.

The Board of Directors of the Egyptian Football Association, headed by engineer Hani Abu Rida, is holding a meeting today, Tuesday, to discuss several issues related to the association and the national teams, in addition to following up on the work plan for the upcoming period.

The meeting will cover the latest developments related to tournaments and national teams, along with discussing a number of administrative topics.


Notable Activity for National Teams in September

September is witnessing intense activity for the national teams, both the senior team and the younger age groups, at both official and experimental levels, as part of a new step towards achieving more successes and unprecedented achievements recently, according to the plan set by the Board of Directors under Hani Abu Rida since he took office on September 11, 2024.

In addition to the two matches of the Egypt senior team against Angola and South Sudan on September 25 and 29 in the qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations 2027, the Under-20 team, led by Wael Riad, is competing in the North African qualifiers (UNAF) for the Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations, which will be held in Ghana next year. The team will begin its journey by facing the Libyan national team on September 24 at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium in Ismailia, followed by matches against Tunisia, Morocco, and Algeria on September 30 and October 3 and 6, respectively.

U-2009 Team Prepares for Switzerland Tournament

The Egypt U-17 team, led by Hussein Abdel Latif, is heading to Switzerland this month to participate in an international tournament featuring many major teams. The teammates of captain Ahmed Safwat will start their journey by facing the South Korean national team on September 24, then meet the national teams of England and Colombia on September 27 and 30, respectively, in the group stage. If they qualify, they will continue in the tournament, which also includes Brazil, Spain, Canada, and Ivory Coast in Group B.

U-2010 Team Prepares for African Qualifiers

The Egypt U-13 team, led by Abdel Sattar Sabri, is also preparing to participate in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers to be held in Tunisia, which will qualify for the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.
