Al Ahly imposes media restrictions on its players in preparation for the match against Zamalek.
Wael Gomaa, the football director at Al Ahly, has decided to impose media restrictions on the team's players in the days leading up to the match against Zamalek. This move aims to maintain the highest levels of focus within the team and keep the players away from any pressures or statements that could affect their preparations for the upcoming match.
This decision comes alongside the focus imposed by the coaching staff, led by Moroccan coach Hussein Ammouta, on the players, given the importance of the upcoming derby scheduled for next Sunday as part of the sixth round of the Premier League.
Ammouta's First Test Against Zamalek
The match against Zamalek is Ammouta's first test against the white team since taking charge of Al Ahly, which drives the coaching staff to prepare the players both mentally and technically in the best possible way, while keeping them away from the fan and media atmosphere surrounding derby matches.
The coaching staff is keen to enhance levels of focus and discipline within the team in the few days leading up to the match, while also working on correcting mistakes that have appeared in the previous period and preparing all players for the derby with the highest possible readiness.
