The Egyptian Football Association has appointed Khaled El-Darendly, the association's vice president, to lead the national team’s delegation during their upcoming trip to South Sudan.
This move aims to ensure all necessary comfort and administrative and logistical support for the "Pharaohs," facilitating any obstacles the coaching staff and players may face, with the goal of achieving a positive result and continuing their strong performance in the continental match scheduled for September 29.
Egypt's national team, under the guidance of head coach Hossam Hassan, will enter their next training camp in the second half of September to kick off their continental journey and face both Angola and South Sudan in the first and second rounds of the African qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.
