The board of directors of Al Masry SC, led by Kamel Abu Ali, has made a series of bold and direct decisions following the recent decline in the performance of the first football team in the Egyptian Premier League.
These decisions were taken by the board with the aim of correcting the course and restoring discipline within the sports organization, and they are as follows:
Reaffirming Confidence and Support for the Coaching Staff
The board clarified that it will provide all forms of support to the first team’s coaching staff, led by Captain Ahmed Sami, and will ensure all necessary resources are available to achieve success and restore the team's balance.
Administrative and Technical Changes and Additions
The board of Al Masry has decided to appoint Captain Ismail Youssef as the club's sports director, along with the addition of Captain Mahmoud Abdel Hakim to the first team’s coaching staff.
25% Salary Deduction for Players
The board has made a decision to deduct 25% from the players' contracts due to the recent decline in results in the league, and has officially notified the Egyptian Football Association of this decision.
The management also decided to permanently exclude and put up for sale during the winter transfer window in January any player who proves to be underperforming or spreading a negative spirit within the team.
The board confirmed that any individual within the administrative or technical structure who is found to be negligent or not adhering to the club's policies will be immediately dismissed.
Opening Nominations for Board Elections
