Algerian player Mounsef Bakkar and Moroccan player Soufiane Benjdida, both from Al Ahly's first football team, have chosen to spend their holiday in Cairo instead of returning to their home countries during the break.
Al Ahly players received a 4-day holiday, starting last Thursday, after the team held a training session on Wednesday morning at the El Tetsh Stadium, following their victory over Abu Qir Fertilizers with a score of 2-0 in a match held on Tuesday evening at Cairo Stadium, as part of the fifth round of the Premier League.
The coaching staff, led by Hussein Ammouta, decided to continue training after the match against Abu Qir Fertilizers, with the team training on Wednesday morning without a break, before the head coach granted the players a 4-day holiday.
