Anas Salah Eddine Joins Panathinaikos
Greek club Panathinaikos announced today the signing of Moroccan international Anas Salah Eddine, who has joined on loan from Italian side Roma for one season, enhancing the presence of Moroccan players in the team.
Salah Eddine moved to Panathinaikos following a difficult stint at Roma, where he recently fell out of favor with the coach, prompting the Italian club to seek a new destination for the player before reaching an agreement for his loan to the Greek team.
Last season, Salah Eddine was on loan at PSV Eindhoven and contributed to the team's victory in the Dutch league, but he was unable to secure a place in Roma's lineup upon his return.
Salah Eddine will join his Moroccan teammates Azzedine Ounahi and Sofiane Louza at Panathinaikos, in a move aimed at regaining his competitive edge and returning to the spotlight after being sidelined by Roma.
