Moroccan international player Ayyoub Bouaddi, star of Manchester City, delivered an inspiring message to Moroccan children in Manchester, urging them to embrace ambition, perseverance, self-confidence, and hard work to achieve their dreams. This took place during the "Moroccan Heritage Camp 2026," held in the city on October 31 and November 1.

Bouaddi's presence was one of the highlights of the event, where he met with participating children aged 6 to 12, interacting with them in a friendly atmosphere, encouraging them to develop their skills and believe in their abilities. He emphasized the importance of hard work and determination in achieving goals, whether in sports or other areas of life.

The Moroccan Community Association in Manchester organized this camp under the slogan "Our Heritage, Our Identity, Our Future," in collaboration with Moroccan diplomatic and consular services in the United Kingdom and partner institutions and associations, celebrating the Unity Day and the 51st anniversary of the Green March and Independence Day. This initiative aims to strengthen the connection of the younger generations of Moroccans in Britain to their national identity and cultural heritage.

The camp program, which lasted for two days, included various cultural and educational activities, such as artistic workshops and stories inspired by Moroccan heritage, as well as segments introducing the history of the Kingdom and the diversity of its cultural heritage, alongside traditional music, football, and team games, providing children with opportunities to meet, communicate, and exchange experiences.

Bouaddi's meeting with the children garnered the interest of participating Moroccan families, especially since his presence allowed the youngsters to have direct communication with a professional football player and to hear about his experiences and the lessons learned from his hard work and discipline in pursuing personal ambitions.

The closing ceremony honored the participating children in the presence of Moha Ebriz, the Consul General of Morocco in London, along with British figures and community and cultural activists, as well as the families of the children, celebrating their contributions to the various activities and workshops held during the camp.

The Moroccan Community Association in Manchester praised Ayyoub Bouaddi's participation, appreciating his interaction with the children and the time he dedicated to encouraging emerging talents. They also acknowledged the contributions of partner institutions, volunteers, and coaches in organizing this event and the success of its cultural and educational program.

The association confirmed that this initiative is part of its efforts to strengthen the connection of Moroccan children in the United Kingdom to their homeland by introducing them to Morocco's history, traditions, and cultural heritage, and encouraging them to take pride in their Moroccan identity and maintain their ties to it across generations.
