Ben Yahia Unhappy with the Attack's Effectiveness at Mouloudia!
Mouloudia Algiers coach Khaled Ben Yahia praised his players' efforts during their 2-0 victory over visitors Mustaqbal El-Mohammedia on Thursday in the third round of the professional league.
The Tunisian coach acknowledged the difficulty of the match, which followed their encounter with Niger's Niamey in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
Ben Yahia said: “I thank the players for their efforts; they put in a tremendous amount of work, especially after the big win in the CAF Champions League.”
He added: “Whenever we return to the league after significant matches in Africa, the following game becomes a challenge for us, especially since we faced a good and competitive team that always causes us trouble.”
Despite praising the players, the Mouloudia coach did not hide his disappointment over the ineffectiveness of his attackers. He stated: “The players performed well, and we could have made things easier for ourselves in the match.”
Ben Yahia concluded in a post-match press conference: “We had great chances to score, and unfortunately, we missed them... but overall, the team delivered a fantastic performance.”
