The pressure is mounting in Tunis as the decisive second leg of the CAF Champions League preliminary round approaches. In an attempt to disrupt the peace and rest of the TP Mazembe players, a group of Club Africain supporters stormed the area on the night of Tuesday, October 20, around 10 PM, right in front of the hotel where the Congolese delegation is staying.
For over ten minutes, a true spectacle of firecrackers and fireworks echoed around the hotel premises. This untimely nighttime intervention aimed solely to disturb the serenity of the Ravens and compromise their recovery before this crucial European match.
In response to this unsportsmanlike behavior and serious breach of hospitality and safety standards, the management of TP Mazembe has decided not to let this go unchallenged. The club from Lushoto is indeed reserving the right to officially report these actions to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to demand respect for the competition regulations.
