CAF Women's Champions League: Lekié faces FUS Rabat, while Masar takes on Mamelodi, here is the schedule for this Sunday.

The CAF Women's Champions League kicks off this Sunday in Cairo, Egypt. Two matches are scheduled for this inaugural day. Lekié FF will make its continental debut against FUS Rabat. The host nation's representative, FC Masar, will face Mamelodi Sundowns.

Group A is the first to launch the hostilities for this new edition of the CAF Women's Champions League. Lekié FF enters the competition but must debut against a formidable team, FUS Rabat. The Moroccan club aspires to glory on the continent and aims to start strong. The experience of Ajara Njoya Nchout could give the Cameroonian club an edge to surprise FUS.

The day's "clash" will see FC Masar take on Mamelodi Sundowns. In front of a local crowd that is expected to support their cause, FC Masar wants to shake up the "big teams." The Egyptian club has high ambitions and aims to go beyond the 3rd place achieved in 2024 during its first participation. However, it faces a team that knows the path to the title well. Mamelodi Sundowns won the CAF Women's Champions League in 2021 and 2023. The South African team hopes to secure a 3rd continental trophy.
