Morocco is the host country for the 2026 Futsal Africa Cup of Nations. The Atlas Lions aim to secure their fourth continental title.
As the host nation, Morocco finds itself in Group A, alongside Libya, Zambia, and Algeria. The Cherifian kingdom can rely on the talent of Soufiane El Mesrar. With his experience, this player knows how to rise to the occasion during crucial moments and lead the team to success. Additionally, Morocco benefits from the expertise of its coach Hicham Dguig, who has been in charge since 2010.
In front of their home crowd, Morocco aims to reaffirm its dominance in African Futsal. The Atlas Lions have already triumphed in this competition in 2016, 2020, and 2024.
The Futsal Africa Cup of Nations will take place from October 12 to 21 in Morocco.
