The first team of City Club's handball has completed the first phase of the men's first division, finishing at the top of their group. They are preparing to start the second phase next Friday, with hopes of qualifying for the professional league and joining the elite in handball.
City Club, under the leadership of Captain Yasser Al-Ramli, the chairman, and his deputy Captain Ayman Salah, has launched a policy to form top-level teams in team sports this season, after years of building a sports foundation at the levels of youth, juniors, and young adults. This aligns with the company's sports strategy to support Egyptian sports through its clubs spread across all governorates and its commitment to practicing all sports to discover and nurture talent.
In another context, City Club celebrated the opening of the covered Minya hall after it joined the company. The hall has been renovated and prepared to host matches of the professional handball league that began at the end of September. The hall hosted the match between Zamalek and Minya in the league last Friday.
