CR Belouizdad Parts Ways with Coach Mondher Kebaier
CR Belouizdad announced on Sunday the termination of Tunisian coach Mondher Kebaier's contract as the team's head coach. This decision came after the heavy defeat the "Snakes" suffered at home against Chabab El Eulma, losing four goals to one in the match held last Saturday.
The management's decision followed two consecutive losses for the team, as CR Belouizdad had also lost away to Ittihad Khenchela before falling at home to Chabab El Eulma.
Kebaier sparked controversy during the press conference following the match, where he mentioned "unusual matters" occurring within the team for some time, stating that this affected the players' focus, especially in the last two matches. He also raised questions about what is happening behind the scenes at the club.
The Tunisian coach officially took charge on July 2 and began preparations for the season on July 8.
Kebaier's tenure with CR Belouizdad ended with a record of two wins, one draw, and three losses since the start of the season, prompting the club's management to terminate his contract following the recent results.
