Four major championships at the equestrian exhibition

The Horse Show in El Jadida, during its seventeenth edition, will host four major competitions dedicated to purebred breeds, aimed at promoting national production and opening up to international experiences in horse breeding, according to a statement from the Horse Show Association.

The competitions include the Moroccan Breeders' Cup for Arabian horses, which highlights the production of Moroccan breeders and enhances selection and genetic improvement practices, in addition to the international show for the beauty of purebred Arabian horses, "Title Show," which attracts award-winning horses from Morocco, Europe, and the Middle East.

The international show for the beauty of purebred Arabian horses carries the "Title Show" classification, the highest rating granted by the European Conference of Arab Horse Organizations (ECAHO), allowing breeders, owners, and professionals to exchange experiences and enhance the presence of Moroccan horses in specialized international competitions.

The show also dedicates two other competitions to breeds linked to the Moroccan equestrian heritage, namely the Champions' Cup for Arab-Berber horses, featuring award-winning horses from national championships and previous editions of the show, and the Champions' Cup for Berber horses, which brings together the best nationally awarded horses.

The participating Berber horses are evaluated based on conformation, movement, balance, strength, elegance, and how well they match the breed characteristics, while the competitions for Arab-Berber horses highlight the features of this breed in terms of endurance, flexibility, and versatility.

The Horse Show Association believes that organizing these four competitions is part of efforts to support horse breeding and enhance the quality of selection and production, as well as promote Moroccan breeds and preserve the equestrian heritage associated with them.

The Horse Show Association was established in 2008 and is responsible for organizing the Horse Show in El Jadida, in addition to supporting activities aimed at developing the equestrian sector, enhancing the cultural heritage associated with horses, and promoting professions related to the sector.
