FUS Rabat defeats Nahda Zemamra.

FUS Rabat managed to turn around a deficit against visitors Nahdat Zemamra, winning 2-1 in a match held today at the Grand Stadium in Fes, as part of the opening round of the professional league. The defending champions started their title defense with a valuable win.

The first half ended in a goalless draw, with both teams showing a moderate pace and making attacking attempts that posed no serious threat to the goalkeepers Salah Eddine Chihab and Marwan Fakhr. As the second half kicked off, Zemamra took advantage of confusion in the home team's defense and a misunderstanding between Ayman Chabani and Hamza Ait Allal, allowing Jawad Al-Saghir to seize the ball and score in the 48th minute.

However, FUS Rabat responded quickly, with South African striker Chigozafatso John Mapaso equalizing from the penalty spot in the 58th minute. The home side continued to apply pressure and turned the game around thanks to Anas Mahraoui, who capitalized on a counterattack led by South African Devin Titus to net the second goal in the 64th minute.
