FUS Rabat heads to Abidjan

The FUS Rabat team set off today, Thursday, towards Abidjan, Ivory Coast, to continue preparations for their match against ASEC Mimosas in the second leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League, scheduled for Sunday, October 25, starting at 16:00.

The representative of the scientific capital enters this match with the ambition of securing a ticket to the next stage, despite the challenge of playing away from home, especially since the first leg, held at the Municipal Stadium in Meknes, ended in a 1-1 draw.

The FUS Rabat squad is counting on delivering a strong performance in the return leg to secure qualification and continue their continental journey, in a match that requires focus and discipline from the players throughout the game.

The squad list for "FUS" includes the return of player Adel Rahili, who has rejoined the group after a period of absence due to injury, while his participation against the Ivorian team will depend on his fitness level and ability to play.

FUS Rabat is expected to begin its training program in Abidjan starting tomorrow, Friday, with training sessions aimed at finalizing preparations ahead of the crucial match in which the team hopes to achieve qualification and continue representing Moroccan football in the African competition.
