Gharib and Abdel Latif boost the morale of the junior national team before their departure to Switzerland.

The national team for players born in 2009, under the leadership of coach Hussein Abdel-Latif, resumed training today, Sunday, after a rest day on Saturday. The team is preparing to announce the final squad of 22 players who will participate in the International Friendship Tournament in Switzerland, scheduled from September 24 to October 3.

Abdel-Latif held a meeting with the players before today's training session, emphasizing the importance of seizing the opportunity and putting in the effort to secure a place in the final squad for the World Cup.

For his part, Shawky Gharib, the coach of the Egyptian Football Association, expressed during the players' meeting the federation's confidence in this team and its ability to achieve outstanding results, both in the Friendship Cup in Switzerland and in the upcoming Gulf Championship, with the World Cup being the top priority.

Gharib added that Engineer Hani Abou Rida, the president of the federation, is committed to providing all support and factors for the team's success, with the presence of Dr. Walid Darwish, a member of the Egyptian Football Association's board of directors and the general supervisor of the team, who is working diligently to ensure all means of success.

It is worth noting that our national team will depart for Switzerland to participate in the International Friendship Tournament on September 22, where they will face teams from South Korea, Colombia, and England, in addition to another match in the final stage.
