Algerian international defender Kevin Guiton has secured his future with Belgian club Sporting Charleroi, as the club announced on Wednesday the extension of the right-back's contract until 2029. This move reflects the club's confidence in his abilities and its desire to continue benefiting from his services in the upcoming seasons.
The extension decision came after Guiton's positive performances with Charleroi, both last season and at the start of the current season, where he has strengthened the right side, helping the team maintain its position in the Belgian plans.
Charleroi's management activated the option to permanently buy Guiton's contract last season after he transferred from French club Metz, allowing the player to continue his journey with the "Zebras" after impressing the club's officials with his technical skills and ability to contribute.
This extension provides the Algerian international defender with an opportunity to continue his stability and growth in the Belgian league, with the ambition to maintain his performance levels and confirm his place, at a time when Charleroi seeks to benefit from his experience and contributions in the upcoming phase.
