Officially.. CAF Approves Request from CR Belouizdad

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has approved the request from CR Belouizdad and the Algerian Football Federation to relocate the matches against The Panthers from Equatorial Guinea in the CAF Confederation Cup.

According to a statement from the federation, the venues for both matches have been changed from Douala in Cameroon to the 5 July Olympic Stadium in Algiers. This decision follows a proposal from the federation to host the matches in Algeria, allowing fans to attend both encounters.

CR Belouizdad will face The Panthers in the first leg on Tuesday, October 20, starting at 8 PM. The return match between the two teams will take place on Sunday, October 25, at the same stadium and time.

This adjustment gives CR Belouizdad the opportunity to defend their continental title comfortably, playing both matches of the second qualifying round for the group stage at the 5 July Stadium in front of their supporters.
