National coach Ibrahim Hamdani made four significant changes to the starting lineup for Tuesday's match against the host team Burundi, compared to the previous game against Zambia.
The "Greens" face Burundi today at noon at the "Intwari" Stadium in the economic capital Bujumbura, in the second round of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
As is well known, forward Amine Gouiri will miss the match after leaving the Sidi Moussa training camp due to an injury sustained in the opening qualifier against Zambia. Hamdani has chosen Amine Chiah to replace him.
Additionally, the national coach made three tactical changes, bringing in central defender Achraf Abada instead of Paris FC defender Samir Cherki.
Hamdani also preferred to give forward Adel Boulbina the chance to start instead of Mohamed Amine Amoura, who excelled with two assists in the match against Zambia.
Furthermore, Olympique Marseille midfielder Haimad Abdelli will start instead of Adam Zarkan.
Meanwhile, the "Greens" coach retained the players he relied on in the opening match of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, including goalkeeper Melvin Mastil and the defensive trio of Redouani, Ben Sabaini, and Hjam, along with midfield duo Mazza and Chaibi, and winger Beloumi.
The starting lineup is as follows:
Goalkeeper: Melvin Mastil
Defense: Achraf Abada, Saadi Redouani, Rami Ben Sabaini, Juan Hjam.
Midfield: Haimad Abdelli, Faris Chaibi, Ibrahim Mazza.
Attack: Bachir Beloumi, Adel Boulbina, Amine Chiah.
