Algerian international Bouchir Belloumi continues to receive praise in England after being chosen by Hull City fans as one of the standout players of the team in the impressive start to the Premier League season.
The Hull Daily Mail, which covers news about the club, conducted a poll for fans to select the most influential player at the start of the season.
Belloumi, who is preparing to join the "Greens" for their match against Burundi later today, Tuesday, finished second with 23% of the votes.
The "Greens" player outperformed several teammates, including defender Noble Mendy, who came in third with 19%, while Greek goalkeeper Konstantinos Tzoulakis topped the voting with 44%.
Belloumi's selection comes after a fantastic start with Hull City, where he contributed four goals in the first five rounds, scoring two and providing two assists.
