Hossam Ghaly calls for strict punishment for Nasser Mansi

Ghaly commented on the incident where Nasser Mansi, the Zamalek striker, threw his shirt after scoring the winning goal against Rwandan army, stating that the player's behavior is unacceptable and warrants strict punishment to prevent such actions from recurring.

The former Al Ahly star said, "I saw Nasser Mansi's situation and what he did after scoring the goal. He made a mistake, and his act of throwing the shirt was inappropriate. There should be a harsh penalty to prevent such things from happening again among players; the management's decision should be deterrent."

Ghaly recalled a similar incident he faced during his professional experience with Tottenham Hotspur, explaining that the club considered his behavior an insult, which led to penalties that affected his career.

Ghaly said, "The shirt incident happened to me, and Tottenham saw it as an insult to the club. They imposed a fine and suspended me for two matches, and I was put up for sale. I regret it very much, and this situation affected my career."

Ghaly concluded his remarks by emphasizing that a player may not realize the gravity of their actions in a moment of emotion, but the club's management must maintain their image and value and deal firmly with any behavior that tarnishes it.
