In preparation for the two friendly matches against Algeria, Nader Rachad reveals the preliminary squad for the futsal national team.

The coaching staff of the Egypt national futsal team, led by head coach Nader Rashad, has announced the preliminary squad of 18 players.

This call-up is part of a closed camp currently taking place in preparation for friendly matches against the Algeria national team on September 21 and 23 in Tlemcen, Algeria.

The Pharaohs' Squad and Final Selection Before Departure

The preliminary list includes: Ragab Ramadan, Anas Khaled, and Ahmed Fekry as goalkeepers, along with players: Alaa Mohamed, Khaled Yousri, Ibrahim El-Sayed, Hani Hussein, Mohamed Ahmed, Ahmed Ali, Mohamed Saeed, Mohamed El-Watidi, Mohamed Talaat, Ayman Abou Rawash, Abdel Rahman Said, Mostafa Ishaq, Mohamed Abdel Hamid, Youssef El-Sayed, and Youssef Alaa El-Din.

The delegation is led by a technical and medical staff consisting of Nader Rashad as head coach, Al-Mu'taz Billah Sami as general coach, and Ayman Abdel Rahman as goalkeeper coach.

The technical leadership is set to finalize the squad, which will consist of only 14 players, before preparing to travel to Algeria next Friday.

Preparatory Stop for the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco

These two friendly matches are part of the approved preparation program for participating in the Africa Futsal Cup of Nations, which will take place in Morocco from October 12 to 21.

The continental edition for 2026 will be played under the new system approved by the Confederation of African Football, as it is considered an independent continental tournament without ties to qualification for the Futsal World Cup.
