Algeria's schedule for the upcoming international break is already well defined. The Fennecs will face Zambia on September 26 and Burundi on September 29 as part of the qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, before hosting Niger on October 4 in a friendly match.

However, a fourth match could be added to this program. Between the return from Bujumbura and the match against the Nigeriens, Algeria has a free week, while the FIFA window allows for up to four matches to be organized.

The possibility of a clash with Egypt, however, is unlikely to materialize. The Pharaohs already have three matches scheduled during this period, including a face-off against South Africa on October 4.

The new management of the Fennecs may therefore consider turning to another team to maximize this period and evaluate more players.
