Jamal Abdel Hamid, during his talk on the program "Malab On" aired on ON Sport channel, pointed out that John Edward's departure from Zamalek with Moataz Gamal taking over the coaching responsibilities would be the better option compared to Edward remaining with the team and hiring a foreign coach.

The former Zamalek star added that John Edward cannot be considered the main factor in Zamalek winning the league title, clarifying that the club had achieved many championships before he took on the sporting management role.
