Wael Gomaa explains to "Youm7" the reason for not including Ali Mahmoud in the Abu Qir match.

Wael Gomaa, the football director at Al Ahly, revealed the reason for not including Ali Mahmoud, the team's midfielder, in the squad for the match against Abu Qir Fertilizers scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, as part of the fifth round of the Egyptian Premier League.

Ali Mahmoud's exclusion raised questions among some regarding whether the decision was related to what happened in the recent match against Al Mokawloon Al Arab, where the Moroccan coach reprimanded the player due to his apparent psychological state during his substitution in the previous match.

Ali Mahmoud's Exclusion for Technical Reasons

Wael Gomaa stated in exclusive comments to "Youm7" that Ali Mahmoud's exclusion was for technical reasons from head coach Hussein Amouta and was not related to the events of the recent match against Al Mokawloon Al Arab.

Regarding the duration of Yasser Ibrahim's absence, the team's defender, after suffering a sprain in the medial ligament and a tear in the lateral ligament of the ankle, he confirmed that Yasser needs some time before he can return to participate in matches.
