Karim Hafez to Replace Ahmed Fattouh in Egypt Squad
The decision to start Karim Hafez comes as the coaching staff aims to rest Ahmed Fattouh, who suffered a strong thigh bruise during Egypt's match against South Sudan on September 29 in the second round of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Hossam Hassan prefers not to take risks with Fattouh in the friendly against South Africa, especially given the importance of keeping the player fit for the upcoming official matches, which allows Karim Hafez the opportunity to play as a starter in the left-back position.
