The first half of the U-20 national team match against Tunisia ended in a 1-1 draw, in a game currently taking place at the "Suez Canal" Stadium in Egypt, as part of the opening of the North African Union "UNAF" tournament qualifying for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.
The young players under coach Hussein Al-Arfi started the match strongly and managed to score the opening goal just 10 minutes in through Mohamed Sidiq, who found the net with a brilliant header.
However, the Tunisian team equalized in the 30th minute after one of the "Greens" defenders scored an own goal, which concluded the first half with this score.
It is worth noting that the U-20 "Greens" will face Libya in the second round on September 27, then they will meet Morocco on September 30, before taking a break on October 3. They will conclude the tournament with a match against Egypt on October 6.
