African Volleyball Championship: Algeria Exits Semifinals Against Cameroon
The Algerian men's national volleyball team bid farewell to the African Championship held in Tunisia on Wednesday evening, after losing to the Cameroonian team with a score of 3 sets to 1 in the semifinals.
The Cameroonian team started the match strongly, taking the first set 25 to 22, and continued their dominance in the second set, winning 25 to 16.
Despite trailing by two sets, the "Greens" managed to rally in the third set, delivering a strong performance and winning 25 to 20, narrowing the gap and reigniting their hopes of turning the match around.
However, the Cameroonian team knew how to seal the deal in the fourth set, which saw intense competition between the two teams, before finishing it in their favor 25 to 23, thus securing their place in the final.
