The medical staff of the national team, born in 2007, organized a series of medical lectures for the players to clarify the necessary medical preparations and procedures in preparation for the North African Championship, which qualifies for the Africa Cup of Nations, under the supervision of the medical team led by Dr. Hajj Hani Al-Antabli, head of the staff, Dr. Salah Ashour as a physical therapy consultant, and Mohamed El-Sayed as a rehabilitation specialist.
Intensive Training for the Youth Team
On another front, the youth team continues its daily training at the National Teams Center, under the leadership of Wael Riad, the head coach, Sherif Abdel-Fadil, the general coach, and Ahmed Raouf, the coach, along with Dr. Qassem Qadri, the fitness planner, and Ahmed Mustafa, the performance analyst, in preparation for the North African Championship, which will be held in Ismailia next week, a tournament that qualifies for the Africa Cup of Nations in Ghana.
Mohamed Abdel-Monsef, the goalkeeping coach, leads the goalkeepers' training, which sees fierce competition among the goalkeepers to earn the trust of the coaching staff.
Wael Riad also ensures daily lectures with the players to emphasize the importance of this stage and the necessity of winning all matches during the tournament.
Meanwhile, the administrative staff, led by Mahmoud Harb, the team manager, and Mohamed Shawky, the team administrator, has completed all administrative arrangements related to the team's camp in Ismailia, scheduled for early next week.
Shawky Gharib, the head coach of the Egyptian Football Association, met with the players before yesterday's training, expressing his confidence in them and in the coaching staff led by Wael Riad, and their ability to achieve the goals and present a worthy performance for Egyptian football.
