Moataz Jamal warns against information leaks during Zamalek's camp in the New Capital.
Amad Jamal, the general coach of Zamalek, has requested that the club's players and coaching and administrative staff maintain the confidentiality of the training camp taking place in the New Administrative Capital and refrain from disclosing any details regarding preparations for the upcoming Cairo derby against Al Ahly.
No Sharing of Photos or Videos
The head coach emphasized the importance of players staying away from social media during the camp and prohibited the posting of any photos or videos from inside the camp, whether directly or through others, to ensure the secrecy of the preparations and prevent the opponent from learning about the team's strategies before the crucial match.
Jamal's decision to impose confidentiality on the camp is part of his efforts to implement a set of tactical drills and test some players during training, without revealing the formation or playing style he intends to adopt against Al Ahly.
Fears of Leaks from the Camp
The coaching staff is also seeking to give themselves ample opportunity to experiment with various tactical scenarios before the match, especially since some players are eager for a chance to play, making the current training sessions critical for identifying the most prepared players for the encounter.
Jamal's insistence on the necessity of not leaking any recorded materials from inside the camp follows the recent friendly match against Eastern Company, where some videos were leaked, raising concerns within the coaching staff and prompting them to stress the importance of not repeating this issue during the preparations for the match against Al Ahly.
The Zamalek coaching staff is currently focused on preparing the players in the best possible way for the match, while also working to enhance their levels of concentration and physical and technical readiness, given the significance of the encounter and the team's desire to achieve a positive result against Al Ahly.
