The Kingdom of Morocco is preparing to host seven matches in the qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations, which will be jointly held in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania, after several African teams faced difficulties securing stadiums that meet the standards set by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
The matches taking place in Morocco include a clash between Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau, as well as a game between Mauritania and Burkina Faso, along with a meeting between Sierra Leone and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The Moroccan national team will also participate in these qualifiers, as they will play a match against Niger on home soil.
Additionally, a match between the Central African Republic and Benin will be held in Moroccan stadiums, alongside another fixture featuring Guinea-Bissau and Madagascar.
The list of matches hosted by Morocco concludes with a showdown between Somalia and Ghana, bringing the total to seven matches, after several teams were forced to relocate their matches to the Kingdom due to the lack of CAF-approved stadiums.
