The national under-15 team delivered an impressive performance during their participation in the World Cup and the FIFA Festival, held in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku, from October 22 to 30.
The journey of the "Greens" in this global event, which featured 189 teams in its inaugural edition, ended in 28th place, with the Spanish team claiming the title.
The young players, coached by Karim Ziani, showcased their skills in the group stage, topping Group B with 13 points, remaining unbeaten with 4 wins and 1 draw.
However, they were eliminated in the Round of 32 of Division A after losing 4-2 on penalties to Guinea, following a goalless draw, which knocked them out of the title race and shifted them to placement matches.
In their first placement match, the young "Greens" suffered a heavy defeat, losing 4-1 to Albania, but then managed to secure a 2-1 victory over Estonia. Nevertheless, they lost again to Kenya, finishing 3-4, concluding their participation in 28th place.
