Nasser Mansi posted a message on his official Instagram story, where he expressed his regret for his behavior during the match, noting that his actions stemmed from a moment of excitement and the pressures players face on the field.

In his message, Nasser Mansi stated, "To clarify what happened during the last match, it was merely a moment of enthusiasm and a result of the pressures players generally experience on the field, which cannot be justified in the professional world and fade away with victories."

The Zamalek player added, "I reaffirm my apology to the fans, the management, the coaching staff led by Captain Moataz Gamal, and my fellow players. God willing, the future will be better, and we promise you... always be there to support us."

This apology comes in the wake of the controversy that arose from Nasser Mansi's celebration of the winning goal against the Rwandan army team, when he threw Zamalek's jersey onto the pitch, an act that sparked debate among the club's fans, prompting the management to take disciplinary action against the player.

Zamalek has decided to suspend Nasser Mansi and refer him for investigation regarding the incident, in preparation for determining his final status and the appropriate punishment, while the player seeks to resolve the issue and affirm his respect for the coaching staff, club management, and its fans.

Nasser Mansi successfully scored the winning goal for Zamalek against the Rwandan army team, securing a 1-0 victory in the first leg of the CAF Champions League Round of 32, giving the white team an advantage ahead of the return match scheduled for October 24 at Cairo International Stadium.
