The Ministry of Youth and Sports welcomed the Egyptian karate team upon their return from Algeria, celebrating the remarkable achievement of the players in winning the African Championship title for seniors, youth, and juniors with merit and distinction.
Dr. Gabali Abdel Meguid Gabali, General Director of Sports Achievement and Incentives, conveyed the greetings and congratulations of Jawhar Nabil, Minister of Youth and Sports, to the team for this great achievement, praising the outstanding level displayed by the Egyptian karate athletes during the championship, which reflects the culmination of efforts made to develop and prepare the sport in recent times.
Egypt Tops the African Karate Championship Rankings
The minister confirmed that Egypt's leading position in the overall standings of the African championship, with a total of 50 medals (30 gold, 8 silver, and 12 bronze), reflects the continued excellence of Egyptian sports in all competitions at both the continental and international levels.
