Heavy Blow for CR Belouizdad: Disciplinary Committee Issues Ruling on Bouzouk
The Disciplinary Committee of the Algerian Football Federation has announced its decision regarding CR Belouizdad player Yassir Bouzouk, following the events that occurred during his team's match against ES Sétif in the second round of the professional league.
During its session held today, Wednesday, the committee decided to impose a penalty on Bouzouk consisting of a six-match suspension, in addition to a fine of 200,000 Algerian dinars, with the penalty starting from the date of his expulsion, which was September 11.
According to the minutes of the Disciplinary Committee, Bouzouk was punished for refusing to respect the referee's decision after his expulsion, protesting against this decision, and insulting the referee, which were the grounds on which the committee based its ruling.
The Disciplinary Committee based its ruling on the provisions of Articles 67, Paragraph 1, and 70 of the disciplinary regulations. The player and the club have the right to appeal the decision before the Federal Appeals Committee within the time limits set by Article 97 of the professional league regulations.
