CR Belouizdad Discover Their Opponent in the Second Preliminary Round of the Confederation Cup
CR Belouizdad is preparing to start their campaign to defend their continental title, as they will face Panthers FC from Equatorial Guinea in the second preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup, after the latter qualified at the expense of Benin's Sable FC in the first round.
According to a statement from CR Belouizdad, the first leg against Panthers FC will take place in Cameroon between October 16 and 18. The return leg will be held at the 5 July Stadium in Algeria from October 23 to 25.
So far, the official dates and times for both matches have not been determined, pending final schedule approval by the Confederation of African Football.
CR Belouizdad aims to secure a positive result in the first leg before hosting their opponent in the return leg in the capital, with hopes of advancing to the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup and continuing their title defense.
