Ismaily SC has shown significant improvement in its current crisis, receiving financial support from local residents and businessmen amounting to approximately 13 million Egyptian pounds. This support was announced during a conference called by Major General Nabil Said Hasballah, the Governor of Ismailia, to provide assistance to the club in its current predicament.
The Governor of Ismailia emphasized the need for all residents of the province and Ismaily SC fans to unite during this phase and to work on providing all necessary forms of support, which will help the team overcome its crisis and regain its rightful place among the top clubs in Egyptian football.
The total donations received by Ismaily from its fans reached around 10 million Egyptian pounds, which helped resolve several issues that had led to a registration ban, most notably the dues owed to Mohamed Kone, Tunisian Firas Chawat, Jean Mouril, and Hamdi Nagguez.
The dues of Algerian Mohamed Ben Khamsa, a former Ismaily player, amounting to 435,000 dollars, have become the most pressing financial issue remaining for the club to lift the registration ban, amid efforts by the committee tasked with resolving the crisis as quickly as possible.
