Yassir Zabiri has made a stunning start to his journey at Racing Santander. The Moroccan forward, on loan from Stade Rennais, has been awarded the "Jugador Cinco Estrellas" trophy, which honors the most outstanding player of the Spanish club for the month of August.
The young striker particularly shone on August 28, scoring all three goals for Racing in their 3-2 victory over Elche at home.
With this hat-trick, Zabiri has also joined the ranks of the few Moroccan footballers to have scored three goals in a single league match in Spain.
