Starting for only the second time this season, Badredine Bouanani took his chance with the Rangers. The Algerian scored a stunning goal to revive his team against Dundee.

After several weeks with very limited playing time, Badredine Bouanani finally regained his spot in the Rangers' starting eleven. For the match against Dundee on matchday 9 of the Scottish Premiership, the Algerian international experienced his second start of the season, following his appearance against St Mirren in September.

This decision quickly proved rewarding for Bouanani. With the Rangers trailing, the Algerian equalized in the 40th minute. Positioned on the right side of the box, his first attempt was blocked by a Dundee defender.

The ball, however, came back to him. Bouanani then adjusted with his left foot and perfectly curled his shot into the opposite corner. An unstoppable strike that allowed the Rangers to level the score and marked the former Nice player’s first goal with his new club.

Having spent much of the past few weeks on the bench, Bouanani needed an opportunity to reignite his career. His coach, Derek McInnes, showed faith in him from the start this time, and the Algerian responded in the best possible way.
