Egyptian referees Samir Mahmoud Osman and Mohamed Taha are participating in the preparation and training of referees for the North Africa U-20 national teams tournament, which is being held in Ismailia, Egypt.
Osman is serving as an instructor among the members of the North African Referees Committee, while Taha is responsible for the physical fitness of the referees.
For his part, Ameen Mougho, the executive director of the North African Football Association, praised the level of organization in the qualifiers for the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations, following the completion of two rounds of competition. He emphasized that the Egyptian Football Association has provided all the necessary logistical support to ensure the success of the tournament.
Mougho stated that accommodation, transportation, and all organizational arrangements are proceeding smoothly, noting that the Suez Canal Authority Stadium is a modern venue that includes all the essential features for hosting matches and sporting events.
He added, "The Egyptian Football Association has provided all the necessary resources, whether in terms of accommodation, transportation, or stadiums, and we will continue to collaborate with the Egyptian Federation with the same focus until the end of the tournament and under the best conditions."
He continued, "We also commend the significant role played by the team at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium, where all officials and staff are monitoring every detail, from coordination meetings before and after matches to full cooperation during competition days, which contributes to the successful execution of the matches."
