Senegal wraps up its international break against Comoros this Sunday in Marseille, with the return of two highly anticipated players.
After being suspended by CAF following the 2025 AFCON final, Ismaïla Sarr and Ndiaye are finally eligible to rejoin the squad, having missed the two qualifying matches against Mozambique and Ethiopia.
Their return allows Patrick Vieira to expand his attacking options, particularly with Nicolas Jackson. The coach can also rely on the return of several key players who have been rested since the start of the gathering.
Kalidou Koulibaly is among the eleven players called up who have yet to play a single minute. Mory Diaw, Demba Thiam, Rassoul Ndiaye, Mamadou Diakhon, Arona Sanganté, Mamadou Sarr, and Nobel Mendy are also included.
After using two formations in previous matches, Vieira could take advantage of this friendly to experiment with new combinations.
