As he prepares to face Siteu on January 3, 2027, Sa Thiès already has ambitions that go beyond this fight. The King of the Arenas aspires to participate in a royal tournament during the next season of Senegalese wrestling. His goal is to help restore the sport to its former glory.

“If it were up to me, after my match against Siteu, I would participate next season in a four-man tournament with the three other best wrestlers of my generation to determine the true King of the Arenas. That is my dearest wish…,” he stated in an interview with Fadam 2, relayed by Wiwsport.

For this tournament, Sa Thiès specifically mentions the participation of Boy Niang, Franc, and Reug Reug, in addition to himself. He also considers including seasoned figures from Senegalese wrestling. “Boy Niang, Franc, Reug Reug, and I could take part in this tournament. We could also offer two spots to veterans (Modou Lô, Tapha Tine, Eumeu Sène, etc.). This would really help revive wrestling at its peak,” he added.

For now, this project remains a wish expressed by the Senegalese champion. Sa Thiès must first focus on his upcoming duel against Siteu before hoping that this initiative bringing together multiple generations of wrestlers can come to fruition.
