The board of directors of Zamalek Club has decided to postpone the official announcement regarding Hossam El-Zanaty's acceptance of the position of sporting director for the team. This decision was made during a meeting held yesterday to discuss several important decisions and files related to the team's future in the upcoming period.
The postponement was due to a lack of agreement on the issue of hiring a foreign coach to join the assistant coaching staff under Moataz Gamal. The club is seeking to finalize the coaching staff before revealing some administrative and technical arrangements related to the team.
Negotiations with the Danish Coach Stall
A Danish coach has entered the list of candidates to take on a role within the assistant staff under Moataz Gamal, as part of efforts to complete the coaching elements for the upcoming phase.
However, negotiations did not materialize after the Danish coach signed with another team, causing this option to falter and preventing an agreement on his joining Zamalek's coaching staff.
The lack of resolution on this matter has led to the postponement of the announcement regarding Hossam El-Zanaty's appointment as sporting director, pending clarification on the assistant staff and stabilization of the next steps related to organizing work within the team.
