The Egyptian Football Association, led by Hany Abou Rida, is working to select a global company to sponsor the national team’s jersey in the upcoming period, following the achievement of reaching the Round of 16 in the last World Cup, marking the first time in the Pharaohs' history.
The association has received several offers from international sportswear companies to sponsor the national team’s jersey after the current contract expires, and it is comparing the offers to choose the best one.
The Egyptian Football Association has resolved the recent crises faced by the national team after holding a meeting at the association's headquarters with the twin brothers Hossam and Ibrahim Hassan, attended by Khaled El-Darandaly, the association's vice president, and Dr. Mostafa Azam, the secretary general.
The meeting confirmed the full support of the football association for the national team’s coaching staff to continue their work until 2030, while opening a new chapter and eliminating any remnants from the previous period.
The discussions also covered the matches against Malawi in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers scheduled from November 9 to 17, along with the arrangements for the two matches given the tight schedule between the third and fourth rounds of the qualifiers.
The meeting addressed ways to enhance stability and cohesion within the national team, and to continue building on the successes achieved in the past period, which contributes to providing the best environment for the coaching staff and players in preparation for upcoming challenges.
Hany Abou Rida emphasized the consistency of the association's board policy in supporting all national teams, reinforcing the principles of teamwork and institutional work, and enhancing cooperation and coordination with clubs, ensuring the integration of efforts to achieve the goals of Egyptian football and the aspirations of its fans, while continuing the path of achievements.
