The match between Kawkab Marrakech and Difaâ El Jadidi ended in a draw.

The match between Kawkab Marrakech and their guests Difaâ Hassani Jadidi ended in a 1-1 draw this Sunday evening at the Al-Harti Stadium in Marrakech, as part of the fifth round of the Botola Pro, preventing the Marrakech team from taking sole possession of the top spot.

Kawkab Marrakech opened the scoring in the 19th minute with a penalty converted by Jawad Al-Ghabra. However, they faced a setback when their player Mohsen Rabja received a red card in stoppage time of the first half, forcing the home side to continue the match with ten players.

Difaâ Hassani Jadidi took advantage of Kawkab's numerical disadvantage and continued to push for an equalizer, which they achieved in the 90th minute through Mouad Mushtanem, denying Kawkab a victory that would have given them the lead in the league.

With this result, Kawkab Marrakech raised their points tally to ten, sitting in second place, tied with leaders MC Meknes, who have a better goal difference. Meanwhile, Difaâ Hassani Jadidi now has seven points, placing them in seventh position.

The fifth round matches will continue next Wednesday with encounters between Raja Casablanca and Hassania Agadir, and FAR Rabat and Ittihad Tanger, before concluding on Thursday with the match between Wydad Fes and Nahdat Berkane.
