Wazan scores a goal for Ajax against Sparta Rotterdam.

Moroccan young player Abdallah Wazan continued his impressive performance with Ajax Amsterdam, contributing to his team's victory over Sparta Rotterdam with a score of 2-1 in the match held today, Sunday, as part of the tenth round of the Dutch football league.

Wazan opened the scoring for Ajax in the 22nd minute with a powerful shot that found the back of the net, beating goalkeeper Michael Brouwer, giving his team the lead and confirming his recent standout presence.

Just two minutes before the end of the first half, the home team managed to equalize through Jens Toornstra, but Ajax quickly regained the lead with a goal from Tolu Arokodare, keeping their advantage until the end of the match.

With this goal, the Moroccan player's tally rose to two in the Dutch league this season, in addition to another goal in the UEFA Europa Conference League, enhancing his status within the Dutch squad as he looks to prove himself in upcoming competitions.

The match also saw Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat in Ajax's starting lineup, while Wazan left the pitch in the 61st minute.

With this victory, Ajax raised their points total to 21, sitting in second place, three points behind leaders Feyenoord, while Sparta Rotterdam remained at nine points in fourteenth place.
