The national team for players born in 2009, under the guidance of coach Hussein Abdel Latif, concluded its training this afternoon in Geneva, Switzerland, in preparation for facing Canada in the final match of the International Friendship Tournament.
Hussein Abdel Latif aims to give as many players as possible the opportunity to play in the match against Canada, with the starting lineup expected to include several players who have not had the chance to start in previous matches, according to the coach's vision.
In this context, Dr. Walid Darwish, a member of the Egyptian Football Association's board and head of the delegation overseeing the team, met with the players, praising their performance against England and Colombia. He emphasized the importance of the tournament in gaining experience and interacting with various football styles in preparation for the World Cup.
Darwish urged the players to continue delivering strong performances and to secure a victory over Canada in the team's final match of the tournament.
The match between Egypt and Canada is scheduled to take place at 4 PM Cairo time.
