After the 2024 competition held in Brazzaville, the UNIFFAC sub-regional tournament for under-20 teams will take place in Cameroon. From October 12 to 24, 2026, the city of Yaoundé will host this crucial event, which will serve as a qualifier for the final phase of the 2027 Africa U20 Cup of Nations.
The group draw has been officially revealed, forming two particularly competitive pools. As the host country, Cameroon will be in Group A alongside Chad and the Central African Republic. The Indomitable Lion Cubs will look to leverage their home advantage to secure their place at the AFCON.
Meanwhile, the Democratic Republic of Congo has been placed in Group B with a strong regional dimension. The U20 Leopards will have to fight hard against the Panthers of Gabon and the Red Devils of Congo-Brazzaville to hope to advance from this group and continue their journey on the continent.
