Wydad settles for a draw against Amal Tiznit.

Wydad Held to Draw by Tiznit
Union Amal Tiznit achieved a valuable positive result against Wydad Casablanca, securing a 1-1 draw on Sunday evening at the Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca, during the fourth round of the professional football league.
The Souss team entered the match with a clear goal to unsettle the hosts, relying on quick counter-attacks, while Wydad aimed to dominate and find an early goal in front of their fans.
The first half saw attempts from both teams without any goals, with Youssef Al-Faqir, the Tiznit goalkeeper, shining as he saved several Wydad chances, ending the first half in a goalless draw.
In the 53rd minute, Zakaria Salhi opened the scoring for Amal Tiznit from the penalty spot, awarded by referee Mohamed Jamlaoui after using VAR, due to the ball hitting Wydad defender Salah Eddine Msedek's hand.
The red team responded nine minutes later when striker Silveir Ganvola equalized in the 62nd minute, converting a penalty that brought the match back to square one.
Both teams sought to secure a win in the remaining minutes, but offensive opportunities did not yield any further goals, ending the match in a draw that earned Amal Tiznit a point away from home in their first season in the top division, under coach Abdel Rahim Ashkilit.
Wydad Casablanca raised their tally to five points, sitting in ninth place, while Amal Tiznit reached four points, placing them eleventh in the standings after the match.
This draw puts Wydad, under the guidance of Portuguese coach Paulo Sergio Brito, in a position that requires improvement in their results in the upcoming rounds, having only shared points with their Souss visitors at the Mohammed V Stadium.
